Then the time came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud
was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ~ Anais Nin
I really liked that she was just always there. She really liked Lake Superior. I'm pretty sure it was all the rocks.
i get all choked up every time i see a picture of her. she was such an anxious little angel and you were so sweet to her.
I like to think that your Gracie and my Solomon and Diva would have been friends. I think their temperaments would have gone well together for friendship, even though mine are cats and Gracie's a dog. :)These pictures kill me, though. Make my heart ache for you. :(
I remember having to leave my dogs home on a trip and feeling so bad, then my daughter, then 10, said, "You know, Hannah is looking out the door for you." Which made me feel worse, until she added, "making sure you don't come home while she's having her doggie party!" So...I'm imagining Gracie and Hannah and Bubba and Simone and all our wonderful pets having a party in their new, perfect home. I have absolute confidence we will enjoy their presence again.
how did you know the very words i needed to hear? you've been listening to Papa.
